Rally To Stop The Upstate Verizon Sale

Hundreds of CWA members from New York State created a ‘sea of red’ as they rallied in front of Verizon headquarters to protest the company's plan to sell its upstate phone network.

Assemblyman Brodsky was among the many speakers to show his support. Brodsky said, “my message is this: the interest of working people like yourself are the same as the issues of the people who use Verizon’s phone system. We’ll make sure Verizon knows that working people still count in this state!  I also want to tell you that today there is some good news. The PSC has decided to regulate the Voice/IP part of the Verizon network. Verizon was also fined 40 million dollars for their poor service. Do you want to know what you can do? Make a little noise!  Your all good at that!”  To that end, the members cheered,  “We’re not for sale, we’re not for sale!””

With Assemblyman Brodsky’s words in mind…take action to  Stop The Sale of Verizon Upstate!!
